THE SISTIANA BAY

We would like to present you the Sistiana bay, an ideal destination for your spring and summer holidays. It is possible to reach the bay by car, by bus or on foot via the stairs that connects the center of Sistiana with the marina. To enjoy the first warm days of Spring, you can take a walk trough the streets of Portopiccolo, the luxurious town on the sea with shops, spa, bars and restaurants. During summer you can sunbathe on the well-kept beaches and the exclusive swimming pool overlooking the sea.
Follow two more free beaches: Castelreggio and, on the other side of the bay, the Park of Caravella.
The Castelreggio beach has showers, available along the entire length of the coast, rental cabins, changing rooms, sun beds with umbrellas, a bar and a self-service restaurant.
The main beach of Caravella develops inside the port: the calm sea makes it the ideal destination for families. Other beaches overlook the open sea. There are sunbeds with umbrellas, showers, a beach volley court, a diving center, a sup rental etc. Entertainment programs for children are organized on weekends. There you’ll find also bars and restaurants with a very varied offer, from salads and sandwiches to pizzas and grilled meat.
Do not miss the opportunity to visit the Falesie Nature Reserve and the Duino Castle, which can be reached via a beautiful walk on the Rilke Path, that offers breathtaking view on the Adriatic sea.
