CAVE “PEJCA V LAZCU”
An underground attraction worth to visit.
Pejca v Lazcu is considered one of the most fascinating caves on the Karst. It is located in Slivia, a typical karst village in the municipality of Duino-Aurisina (TS).
Its wonder consists in the presence of a large number of millennial stone towers. The most famous are the two Hanging towers, a group of eight stalagmites, from which the cave takes its name.
The tickets to visit the cave can be purchased online. A special tractor called “agrobus” will take you to the entrance of the cave. The natural entrance of the cave was very difficult to reach, so an artificial entrance was created. There you’ll find 200 steps. The visit continues so on foot.
